The 5.5" Green Beret Knife by Chris Reeve Knives is known as "The Yarborough" to the U.S. Army Special Forces and a hard working tool to countless others around the world. Chris designed and engineered this failure-is-not-an-option cutting tool with the great Bill Harsey to be dependable in the worst of times.

The 5.5" Flat Dark Earth Green Beret is brand new direct from Chris Reeve Knives, USA.

The Blade: Built from .220 inch thick premium S35VN steel to withstand whatever the user puts it through and cut like a champ. It's hollow ground with an upper swedge grind done in a utility drop point style perfect for cutting, slicing and chopping whatever's in the path. Expect a little over 4.5 inches of shaving sharp, polished straight plain cutting edge that will be easy to maintain in the field. This version features a Flat Dark Earth KG Gun Kote finish offering some of the toughest non-reflective, non-flaking steel coatings known to man.

The Handle: Composed of extremely durable, textured and sandblasted black canvas micarta. It looks great, feels great and functions even better. It adds a solid, secure grip when dry but also when wet. As moisture sinks into the micarta, its canvas fibers are activated increasing grip so the user doesn't have to stop for a second. They don't get slippery, they get better. Some foliage green cordage is attached to the lanyard hole at the end.

The 5.5" Green Beret in Flat Dark Earth with a Plain Cutting Edge ships in a coyote brown USA Made tactical MOLLE Nylon sheath with CRK goodies and Certficate of Authenticity.
