Chris Reeve Mnandi Ladder Damascus Bog Oak Gentleman's Frame Lock Folder
The Chris Reeve Mnandi is the benchmark of high-end production gentleman's knives. Precision fit and finish along with top-of-the-line materials make this compact folder an ideal dress or gentleman's carry knife. This version comes with a Nichols Stainless Ladder Damascus steel blade and titanium handles with Bog Oak inlays.
Brand new, direct from Chris Reeve Knives, USA.
Blade: Stunning Nichols stainless Damascus and a crowned spine give the Mnandi a handsome, striking look while the shallow hollow grind offers exceptional slicing performance. A large thumb recess allows for quick, two-hand access to the blade with buttery smooth action thanks to oversize phosphor bronze washers at the pivot and very tight tolerances.
Handle: Dark and dense Bog Oak wood scales have been inlaid into the front and back of the satin finished titanium handle flats while the edges and lock bar are left a blasted matte gray for contrast. Stabilized Bog Oak is rare wood in the beginning stages of fossilization. Buried and preserved in a peat bog for hundreds or sometimes thousands of years, Bog Oak's hues are deep brown to almost black wood. Fit and finish on this timeless classic is outstanding while the Reeve Integral Frame Lock delivers smooth operation and rock solid lock up for secure use.
Carries via a reversible, removable, 3D machined titanium clip.
Includes a leather slip pouch for storage or carry, a tube of fluorinated grease, Chris Reeve microfiber cloth, single Allen key and information packet.
Nichols Stainless Damascus: Stainless Damascus offers the performance of a modern stainless steel while delivering a unique look from the pattern welded layers and acid etched finish. Available in multiple patterns, stainless Damascus gives a knife a striking and singular look. Nichols Damascus is composed of AEB-L and 304 delivering excellent corrosion resistance and toughness with good hardness for edge retention.
