This version comes with burgundy G10 handle scales, black stainless steel liners and a black stonewashed D2 tool steel blade.

Blade: A wide, high saber ground D2 tool steel blade has a nearly full length tapered swedge that ends in an American-style Tanto point that provides solid slicing and piercing performance with good performance in detail work while being robust enough for tactical utility. A subtle choil offers easy sharpening while the caged ceramic ball bearing pivot delivers fast, smooth operation of the blade using the index flipper tab or dual thumb studs for deployment.

Handle: Skeletonized, black stainless steel liners support rugged, G10 handle scales with chamfered edges for a contoured feel in hand. Simple and ergonomic in design, the handles are comfortable and secure with an index finger cutout pairing with the flipper tab guard for added security. The stainless steel liner lock is smooth, simple and reliable for operation with jimping for enhanced traction. A generous hole in the exposed G10 back spacer allows for lanyard attachment.

D2 Tool Steel: D2 is a cold work tool steel that has been used as a die cutting steel since WW II. D2 has a high chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) which gives it greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels making it semi-stainless. D2 offers a good combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance for a good all around knife steel.
