This version comes with contoured, coarse green G10 scales, gray stainless steel liners and a satin finished D2 tool steel blade.

Blade: Made from D2 tool steel, the reverse Tanto blade has a flat grind all the way up to the full length swedge on the spine. This combination of swedge and grind offers solid piercing and slicing performance. A fine satin finish gives the blade striking good looks and a high class feel. Riding on a caged ceramic bearing pivot the blade deploys fast and smooth via the flipper tab. Spine jimping pairs with a full index choil for optimal control during heavy use.

Handle: Skeletonized stainless steel liners support coarse green G10 handle scales delivering modern performance and traction in the hand. Ergonomic and neutral for versatility, the handles have textured chamfers for traction and comfort. One liner makes a simple, effective, and reliable locking mechanism with scallops for positive disengagement.

D2 Tool Steel: D2 is a cold work tool steel that has been used as a die cutting steel since WW II. With a high chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) D2 offers greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels. With a good combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance D2 is a well-balanced, all around knife steel.
