Building on the success of the popular Exarch front flipper, CIVIVI is back again with the Chronic, for a slim, performance orientated and budget-friendly gentleman's carry folder. It has the identical handle construction with stainless liners and straight, chamfered G10 scales while the blade has been modified to a hollow ground clip point with flipper deployment. This version comes with carbon fiber over black G10 handle scales and a stainless Damascus steel blade.

Blade: A simple, utilitarian clip point blade is made from stainless Damascus with a 9Cr18MoV stainless steel core for modern performance with a striking look. The nearly full height hollow grind offers excellent slicing performance and tapers the tip for piercing and fine work. Caged ceramic ball bearings at the pivot deliver fast and silky smooth flipper deployment.

Handle: Slim and sleek, the handle has deeply chamfered edges and squared corners giving the knife a "modern traditional" look and good in hand feel while the carbon fiber overlay elevates the style. Skeletonized stainless steel liners create a solid foundation for the scales with one forming the liner lock mechanism: simple, reliable and flawless in operation. A subtle cutout in the scale allows access to the scalloped surface for easy disengagement. The G10 partial back spacer has an extended end with lanyard hole cutout for added security and customization.

Carries via a reversible, tip-up, stainless steel deep carry pocket clip.

Chinese Damascus: Damascus offers the performance of a modern steel while delivering a unique look from the pattern welded layers and acid etched finish. Often available in multiple patterns, Damascus gives a knife a striking and singular look. The core of this blade is 9Cr18MoV stainless steel hardened to around 60 HRC for solid cutting performance.
