This version comes with a black stonewashed D2 tool steel Tanto blade, black liners and green canvas Micarta scales.

Blade: Blending practical with tactical, the Tanto Elementum sports a D2 tool steel blade with a high saber grind that is tough with balanced slicing performance. The forward edge of the Tanto offers added utility when cutting on flat surfaces and reinforces the tip for serious piercing power. A non-reflective black stonewashed finish hides wear and is discreet in use. The caged ceramic ball bearing pivot offers fast, smooth ambidextrous flipper deployment.

Handle: Black stainless steel liners support rugged canvas Micarta handle scales, with the liners riding proud to deliver a more contoured feel in the hand. The stainless steel liner lock is smooth, simple, and reliable for operation with jimping for enhanced traction. Simple in design, the handles are comfortable and secure with solid ergonomics, traction and visual appeal from the Micarta scales. Black hardware and a generous lanyard hole round out the construction.

D2 Tool Steel: Used as a die cutting steel since WW II, D2 offers a good combination of hardness and wear resistance with moderate toughness and stain resistance. High chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) gives D2 better corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels.
