Blade: Bring this popular platform into the tactical realm D2 tool steel is delivered in a robust, flat ground Tanto profile that enhances strength, especially in piercing, while offering versatile utility. The black stonewashed finish is rugged and non-reflective, hiding wear from use and making for discreet use. A subtle choil ensures sharpening from tip to heel with good slicing from the high saber grind and solid piercing from the swedged Tanto which also works well on flat surfaces. The caged ceramic ball bearing pivot offers fast, smooth ambidextrous flipper deployment.

Handle: Black stainless steel liners support hefty solid copper handle scales with the liners riding proud to deliver a more contoured feel in the hand. The stainless steel liner lock is smooth, simple and reliable for operation with jimping for enhanced traction. Simple in design, the handles are comfortable and secure with solid ergonomics and a restrained, classy look thanks to the hand rubbed black finish on the scales. Black hardware and a generous lanyard hole round out the construction.

D2 Tool Steel: D2 is a cold work tool steel that has been used as a die cutting steel since WW II. D2 has a high chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) which gives it greater corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels making it semi-stainless. D2 offers a good combination of toughness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance for a good all around knife steel.
