The CIVIVI Fracture blends traditional slip joint knife construction with modern design and materials for an excellent choice for non-locking daily carry. Slim and lightweight, the Fracture carries very well and has the added benefit of one-hand opening thanks to the extra large blade hole cutout. This Drop Point version comes with a gray stonewashed blade and Black G10 handle scales.

Blade: Gray stonewashed stainless steel is executed in a hollow ground Drop Point profile for excellent slicing and piercing performance with balanced durability. The classic EDC drop point handles a variety of tasks and is especially effective paired with the tops swedge and mid-height hollow grind. Ambidextrous, one-hand opening is smooth and reliable thanks to a phosphor bronze washer pivot and oversized blade hole cutout.

Handle: Supported by a solid stainless steel back spacer and gray stainless liners, the ergonomic G10 handle scales have a peel-ply texture for good traction with an integral index finger guard for added safety. Edges are chamfered for comfort with a slim design that carries well without sacrificing performance. The back spring delivers solid slip joint operation with an exposed pommel end milled for lanyard attachment. Black stainless Torx hardware completes the construction.

Carries via a reversible, tip-up, stainless steel deep carry pocket clip.

8Cr14MoV: Similar to Japanese AUS-8, 8Cr14MoV is a low carbon, high chromium stainless steel with an excellent balance of toughness and strength. It offers good corrosion resistance and is capable of acquiring a razor sharp edge. Edge holding is similar to 440B. Sharpening should be a breeze.
