Designed for daily carry, the workhorse Engage line from Cold Steel provides hard use folding knives that are comfortable, secure, and easy to operate thanks to the innovative Atlas slide lock mechanism. Fully ambidextrous and built like a tank, the Engage is a reliable choice for EDC use. This 3" premium version comes with a satin finished CPM-S35VN blade and black G10 handle scales.

CPM-S35VN: Modified CPM-S30V designed for improved toughness (15-20%) and ease of machining and polishing. Well-balanced for daily use, S35VN has better edge retention and toughness compared to 440C or VG10, with equivalent corrosion resistance.

Atlas Lock: This patent pending slide lock offers ease of use with exceptional strength. A spring-loaded steel bar rides on pins set into the handle. The forked end of the bar slides around two pins that serve as blade and lock stops respectively. The interior prong of the fork sits between the blade stop pin and blade tang locking the knife solidly in the open position and distributing lock force over the two pins for added strength (tested to over 700 lbs!).
