Details
Andrew Demko designed the Frenzy model after the ancient Japanese Kabutowari and Cold Steel Knives brought it to life. It has a slender, pointy blade with a thick spine and super straight cutting edge. Think of a long wharncliffe-sheepfoot style with a needle-sharp piercing point tip. The Frenzy I is lean 'n mean in dual-tone OD Green and Black G10 paired with 5.5 inches of premium CTS-XHP steel.
Brand new design built by Cold Steel Knives.
The Blade: A gorgeous line-grain satin polished finish highlights this piercer. It looks outstanding in any light. A deep gray fuller runs down the flats on both sides for a really nice accent. It comes shaving sharp with an upper swedge grind on the portion that runs down toward the tip. Opening and closing is a breeze with dual thumb studs working in cadence with the famous Tri-Ad locking mechanism for superior endurance.
The Handle: Coming in at nearly seven inches and ultra-styling with its layered od green and black G10, there's plenty to hold on to. It's 3D machined for texture and grooves in all the right places creating some pretty killer ergonomics. It has the length to fit the largest of grips out there yet is slim enough not to take up too much room. The Frenzy I ships complete with a reversible tip up carry pocket clip.
