Blade: Made from 3/16-inch thick, CPM-3V, the blade of the Master Tanto is a classic design with a big, sweeping cutting edge and powerful point. Flat ground for durability, the piercing Tanto point makes a quick transition to the hollow ground primary edge that delivers powerful slicing performance. CPM-3V delivers an exceptionally tough blade capable of heavy use with good edge retention sacrificing corrosion resistance.

Handle: A hidden tang construction balances strength with comfort and is wrapped with a high traction, rubber-like Kraton Polymer capped with a stainless steel guard and pommel end with lanyard hole. The handle is comfortable in a variety of grips and balanced for speed and control in the hand.

Sheath: Carries via a molded polymer sheath with modular nylon belt loop.

CPM-3V: is a high carbon alloy steel that extremely tough and has enough chromium to have some corrosion resistance. However, care is required to prevent corrosion. The edge can be ground thin as it is tough enough to support a fine edge. 3V delivers the highest level of toughness while maintaining good edge retention.
