Made with 4.5 mm thick, black epoxy powder coated 1075 carbon steel paired with black canvas Micarta handle scales this knife can tackle any task with ease. Simple and well throughout in its execution, this is a powerful cutting tool that is ready for some serious use.

Blade: With a 4.5 mm thick, 1075 carbon steel construction the wide blade is robust enough for chopping while the 5.5 inch length allows it to be easily carried on a belt or pack. The modified convex grind is durable for heavy use and easily strops back to razor sharpness while the sweeping belly works well for slicing or skinning. A durable, black epoxy powder coat finish on the flats is discreetly non-reflective and helps prevent corrosion.

Handle: Attached to the full tang of the blade with epoxy and hollow stainless pins are thick, hand filling canvas Micarta scales that are comfortably contoured for extended use while providing exceptional traction even when wet. The handle is durable against impact and essentially impervious to the elements with an integral guard for added safety when using the point. One of the hollow tubes allows for lanyard attachment at the pommel.

Carries via a MOLLE compatible Kydex sheath with nylon back.

1075 High Carbon Steel: Simple carbon steel used by both production and custom knife makers. Low abrasive wear due to low carbide content but very tough and easy to sharpen. Good performance with proper heat treatment. Not corrosion resistant and will rust without proper care.
