Details
Tony Lennartz designed the Condor Meatlove as a slicing and skinning knife that is light and thin enough for precision work yet robust enough to handle light woodcraft. The sweeping, trailing point blade is well suited for the task while the ergonomic handle is nimble and secure in the hand. This version comes with a satin finished 420HC stainless steel blade, white linen Micarta scales and a leather sheath.
Brand new from Condor Tool & Knife.
Blade: A 2mm thick trailing point profile pairs with a saber grind for balanced performance on the 420HC stainless steel blade. The cutting edge is all belly from heel to tip and handles slicing, skinning, and filleting tasks with ease. This is a rigid blade for strength in utility work while the narrow profile allows for accurate work in tight spaces.
Handle: Polished linen Micarta handle scales are securely fitted to the full tang blade with stainless steel pins. Micarta is durable and weather resistant and the tapering design and pommel swell provide a solid, secure grip without the need for a pronounced guard or finger grooves for a sleek, efficient design that allows for multiple grips.
Carries via a leather belt sheath.
420HC Stainless Steel: AISI 420HC is a "high carbon" 420 modification developed for higher hardness with improved edge retention and stability. High corrosion resistance and toughness, easy to sharpen to a fine edge. Moderate edge retention.
