Blade: Made from 2.5 mm thick 1095 carbon steel, the tall cleaver blade is outfitted with a high saber grind that offers good cutting performance balanced with some heft and durability. The curve of the edge allows for rocking cuts as well as chopping and slicing for added versatility. A blasted and satin two-tone finish offers a classy look with a classic blade hole for wall storage and spine jimping delivering enhanced traction for utility work.
Handle: Dual hollow stainless steel pins attach the blasted and contoured canvas Micarta scales to the full tang for a rock solid handle well suited to the rigors of heavy chopping. Offering a comfortable four finger grip, the Micarta scales are rugged and offer traction even when wet. The bird's beak pommel allows for added leverage and is equipped with a hollow lanyard tube with paracord lanyard and Micarta bead for added security.

1095 Carbon Steel: Popular, simple carbon steel used extensively by production and custom knife makers. Low abrasive wear (edge retention) due to low carbide content and easy to sharpen to a fine edge. Not corrosion resistant and will rust without proper care.
