The Rodan fixed blade from Condor Tool & Knife is a tank of a blade. Made with 4.5 mm thick, black epoxy powder coated 1075 carbon steel and wrapped with over an inch thick polymer handle this knife with take everything you throw at it and come back for more. This is a no frills cutting tool that is well-balanced, comfortable and ready for some serious use.

Blade: With a 4.5 mm thick, 1075 carbon steel construction the wide clip point blade of the Rodan is beefy enough for chopping while the sub-5.25 inch length allows it to be easily carried on a belt or pack. The saber grind is durable for heavy use while the sweeping belly work well on slicing cuts and a generous ricasso allows for a close grip. A durable, black epoxy powder coat finish is discreetly non-reflective and helps prevent corrosion.

Handle: Wrapping the tang of the blade is a simple polypropylene handle that is big, hand filling and comfortably contoured perfect for extended use. The handle is durable against impact and essentially impervious to the elements. A large brass tube allows for lanyard attachment.

Carries via a high quality black leather belt sheath.

1075 High Carbon Steel: Simple carbon steel used by both production and custom knife makers. Low abrasive wear due to low carbide content but very tough and easy to sharpen. Good performance with proper heat treatment. Not corrosion resistant and will rust without proper care.
