Blade: Craig crafted this beautiful Recurve blade using premium, Bohler Elmax stainless steel which offers high end performance in both edge retention and corrosion resistance. Giving a custom two-tone look the flats are a hand-rubbed horizontal satin while the grinds are a fine vertical satin and the spine has been crowned and polished for even more refinement. A prominent top swedge and deep hollow grind offer sold performance if you can bring yourself to use it. The blade breezes along on a bushing pivot system for buttery smooth flipping.

Handle: Full length titanium liners provide the foundation for beautiful, contoured, Black and Green Carbon handle scales. Open pillar construction gives the handles good balance and makes for easy cleaning and maintenance as well as offering a view of the orange peel texture on the interior, a truly custom detail. A robust titanium latch keeps the blade locked securely in the open or closed position for safety.

Bohler Elmax: Elmax has become an extremely popular choice for high-end user grade knives thanks to its extreme edge retention. Elmax also has a good corrosion resistance, meaning most users can avoid corrosion (rust) by simply wiping off their blade after each use. Another great feature of this steel is its ability to resist burr formation during sharpening. Elmax has very similar performance to M390 and is used interchangeably by Microtech.
