Craig Camerer XL Skeleton Balisong with Damascus Blade

This custom built XL Bali from maker Craig Camerer is a highly functional work of art that's sure to be a large standout in your collection. The skeleton handle has an intermittent pattern of machined lightening holes placed to perfection leading up to his very own Damascus.

The Blade: Craig fashioned this long clip point from his very own damascus that's absolutely stunning to behold. It has a heavy hollow grind to contrast the wide layers, flats and upper swedge. The spine has a shiny, clean polished finish leading to the joined swedge grinds and all culminating at the razor piercing tip. Both pivots on the tang utilize micro ball bearings for optimal buttery smooth operation. Fashioned and fit perfectly with zero play in all directions. 

The Handle: This skeleton handle is marvelous. Weight reduction is one thing, but the grip it adds to the overall experience is quite nice. Completely open titanium construction has a clean effect that you can see right through. No liners or unnecessary add-ons to weigh it down. The five rows' inner circles were left a machine satin shine while the entire outer surface, including the edges, were heavily tumbled. In between each row is a decorative four-circle pattern for accent. Craig put a light orange peel finish on the innards of the handle for that hidden gem. The handle's theme continues to the latch. Minus the pin, it also is entirely constructed of titanium with three smaller machined holes and stonewash finishing. It operates on two brass washers creating smooth lockup in the closed or open position every time.
