CRKT Drip Tighe Outburst Assist Plain Edge 1190

Inspired by dripping syrup on his pancakes, Mr. Brian Tighe brought this genius to life and aptly named it the Drip Tighe. CRKT has now made a version for all to enjoy that is thumb stud deploying, Outburst assisted opening ripe for EDC.

The Blade: An exquisite drop point chosen for the Drip with slight recurve and upper swedged offset. It hits the sweet spot offering its user just about 3 inches of shaving sharp cutting edge right out of the box. Give a slight fling of either of the two thumb studs to set the Outburst mechanism into action. It flies out of the handle for quick use. What's nice about the design is though it does not have a usable flipper tab extension from the handle, it does have a slight one once open to guard fingers from the cutting edge. Satin machining finishes off this stunner. 

The Handle: A three part design. It starts with a base of matte grey steel with a topping of black G10 covered in carbon fiber textured drippings. The drip material looks cool, but it also serves a purpose adding texture to the grip of this handle. The ground floor steel layer provides a frame locking mechanism for reliable cutting every time. The construction is pretty cool with an extended ridged back strap adding even more grip with lanyard hole and deep carry clip attachment.
