CRKT Du Hoc McGlaun Design SK5 Karambit 2630

CRKT Forged by War designer Austin McGlaun and Ryan Johnson of RMJ Tactical have teamed up to create this mission ready Karambit as a tribute to the service of McGlaun's grandfather who won the Silver Star at Point Du Hoc. This design has a functional simplicity that belies the high level of attention to detail that went in to its production. The Du Hoc is another solid and functional design from the Forged By War lineup.

Brand new and direct from CRKT.

Blade: The blade is made from tough SK5 tool steel that has been finished with a durable and non-reflective black powder coating for corrosion resistance. Both the forward edge of the point and primary hollow ground, hawkbill edge are sharpened making the Du Hoc a double threat. The top of the spine is equipped with a full length false edge for enhanced performance.

Handle: Textured and contoured G10 handle scales are attached to the tang of the knife for a rock solid grip. A large ring at the pommel of the handle allow for the Du Hoc to be utilized in the traditional Karambit style while a groove in the outside of the ring provides a comfortable non-ring grip. An small extended tang section can be utilized as an impact point when necessary.

Sheath: A custom molded glass reinforced nylon sheath offers secure carry and fast deployment. Multiple attachment point make it compatible with various load bearing equipment.
