CRKT Jumbones Park IKBS Flipper 7532

Ken Onion-protege and right hand man in the Onion shop, Jeff Park of Mililani, Hawaii has collaborated with CRKT to produce the Crossbones Flipper and is back again with the 2019 "Jumbones", a larger scale version of the same design. The Jumbones is based on the Jeff's custom designed Bones and features the same slim, elegant design with a full flat grind blade and IKBS bearing pivot deployment that this design a dream to both carry and use. With over ten years of knife making experience Jeff Park has the skill and knowledge to produce a fine cutting tool and the Jumbones is in keeping with his high level skill.

Blade: The Jumbones has a long, slender, full flat grind blade with a finely tapering point that makes this knife an exceptionally efficient slicer. This larger version of the Crossbones is sporting a just under 5" blade for tackling serious cutting tasks. The blade deploys very fast on the IKBS bearing pivot via the index flipper. This knife has a smooth operation that makes it a joy to use.

Handle: Stainless steel liners build a solid framework and make up a smooth operating liner lock mechanism. The "bones" pattern handle scales are made from 6061 Aluminum with a brushed satin and Gray Hard Anodized, two-tone finish. The handles are slim and elegant while being very secure thanks to the diamond texturing. A short backspacer doubles as an inline lanyard loop just like the Crossbones. The Jumbones has a custom-style pivot with the "bones" pattern as well.

Carries via a right hand, tip-up, stainless steel deep carry clip.

AUS-8: is a highly corrosion resistant stainless steel with decent toughness and edge holding. This steel is in the same class as 440B and 8Cr14Mov.
