The wild Canadian Monashee Mountains are home to animals that big game hunters dream of and they are also the namesake of the new Hunt & Fish collaboration between custom knife maker Russ Kommer and CRKT. Equipped with a big-bellied blade, molded TPR handles and Field Strip technology construction, this hunting folder is a pack staple for any outdoor enthusiast.

Blade: The blade profile is a Skinner profile familiar to generations of hunters that offers plenty of belly. The blade opens smoothly on nylon washers for maximum resistance to corrosion. A generous, textured thumb stud makes opening a breeze even with gloves on or in adverse conditions. A pronounced thumb ramp pairs with the handle to provide plenty of security and control during use.

Handle: Constructed from light weight and durable Double Injection Molded Thermoplastic Rubber the handles of the Monashee offer superb traction in the hand and exceptional security thanks to the deep finger grooves. Disassembly is simple with the Field Strip system: flip the tab at the pivot and rotate the gear wheel at the pommel end to take the knife apart. Clean and reassemble by reversing the process. An inset stainless steel liner delivers secure lock up and smooth, simple operation.

Carries via a right hand, tip-up stainless steel pocket clip.

8Cr13MoV Stainless: is a highly corrosion resistant stainless steel with decent toughness and edge holding. This steel is in the same class as 440B and AUS-8.
