Details
The 1201K Crack-Shot Compact Outburst® assisted-opening EDC folder was designed by USA knife maker Ken Steigerwalt, built by CRKT for Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc. One of America's leading manufacturer's of rugged, reliable firearms, Ruger chose CRKT to build their exclusive line of Knives. This one is inspired by the popular Ruger American Rifle®.
The Blade: The Crack-Shot Compact has a very favorable everyday utility carry drop point blade profile with just about three inches of cutting edge. It has a slight hollow grind to it for maximum sharpness and a handsome dark tumbled stonewash finish. This has CRKT's Outburst® assisted-opening mechanism for lightning quick sure-fire opening action. Simply press down and push out on the single thumb stud for instant open. It is composed of easy-field sharpening 8Cr13MoV stainless steel.
The Handle: Formed of black, durable glass-reinforced Nylon with a familiar American Rifle-textured grip on both sides. The cylinder-inspired pivot screw makes the perfect accent. The textured scales are secured to black stainless steel liners for strength. One forms the solid liner lockup on this folder. A single-position dark-worn tumbled single-position pocket clip accompanies the Crack-Shot.
This is an Officially Licensed Ruger Product built by CRKT Knives.
