The CRKT 2490 Squid designed by Lucas Burnley is a compact edc folder with the the functionality of a full-sized folder. Lucas Burnley has utilized a wide blade geometry to give this relatively short, drop point blade a great amount of tip strength without sacrificing point geometry necessary for every day utilitarian tasks. Friction grooves on the spine of the blade offer plenty of traction for a secure grip and the blade is solidly engaged by the stainless steel frame lock. A stainless, tip-up deep carry clip and exposed lanyard hole pommel round out the Squid.

8Cr13MoV Stainless: is a highly corrosion resistant stainless steel with decent toughness and edge holding. This steel is in the same class as 440B and AUS-8.
