Dawson utilizes differentially heat treated American CPM 3V tool steel for exceptional toughness and solid edge retention, with a clear Cerakote coating for corrosion resistance. Blade: American CPM 3V offers toughness and performance in a classic drop point profile with a high hollow grind and wide recurve edge, perfectly suited to skinning tasks as well as daily utility. Spine jimping gives control for fine work, while the jimped guard and deep choil provides security in use. The two-tone Specter blade finish lends style to this utilitarian blade.

Handle: Supported by the full tang thick, matte blasted G10 scales are over fiber liners offer a full sized handle with a secure and comfortable grip. Deep milled grooves and blasted texture pair with the deep index choil for a solid traction, while contoured edges add comfort during extended use. Each knife is 100% hand made and includes a Certificate of Authenticity with spec sheet and serial number.

Sheath: Carries via a custom molded Kydex pocket sheath.

CPM-3V: A high carbon alloy steel that is extremely tough and has enough chromium to have some corrosion resistance. Care and maintain is required. High toughness translates to a stable edge that can be ground thin for enhanced performance. 3V has good edge retention, approaching VG-10 and CPM-154, with more than 3x the toughness.
