This Pena Custom Front Flipper starts with his hand rubbed satin finished CPM-154 blade, razor sharp, perfectly centered and super smooth in operation. The handle recalls a classic slip joint pattern made with a modern titanium liner lock construction. This piece is a Trapper pattern front flipper with a clip point blade and crosscut Navajo Blanket G-carta (Micarta) covers with brown crosscut bolsters.

Blade: Finished with a handsome, hand rubbed satin the clip point blade is made from American CPM-154 stainless steel and outfitted with a high hollow grind for exceptional slicing performance. A nearly full length swedge tapers clip point to a fine tip that excels at piercing and detail work. Jimping on the spine offers enhanced traction, extending to the streamlined front flipper tab for ambidextrous deployment. Smooth operation is provided by the caged stainless bearing pivot and well dialed in detent.

Handle: Traditional style executed with precision in a modern construction is the benchmark of a Pena custom. The clean sweeping lines of the Trapper pattern are delivered with thick titanium liners supporting contoured Navajo Blanket G-Carta covers over red liners. This custom crosscut canvas Micarta is inspired by the woven blankets of the indigenous peoples of the American Southwest and pairs with brown crosscut Micarta bolsters divided by the red liner material for a timeless and appealing look. The front cover is adorned with a satin finished stainless steel shield inlay and construction is completed with a matching Micarta partial back spacer. Simple, smooth and rock solid, the liner lock delivers secure lockup for safe use.
