This Pena Custom Front Flipper starts with his hand rubbed satin finished CPM-154 blade, razor sharp, perfectly centered and super smooth in operation. The handle recalls a classic slip joint pattern made with a modern titanium liner lock construction. This piece is a Zulu pattern front flipper with a spear point blade and crosscut Painted Desert G-carta (Micarta) covers with brown crosscut bolsters.

Blade: Finished with a handsome, hand rubbed satin the spear point blade is made from American CPM-154 stainless steel and outfitted with a high hollow grind for exceptional slicing performance. A nearly full length swedge tapers the blade to a fine point ideal for piercing and detail work while maintaining good durability. Jimping on the spine enhances traction and extends to the streamlined front flipper tab, delivering ambidextrous deployment with smooth operation thanks to the caged stainless bearing pivot and well dialed in detent.

Handle: Traditional style executed with precision in a modern construction is the benchmark of a Pena custom. The clean sweeping lines of the Zulu are delivered with thick titanium liners supporting contoured Micarta covers over red liners. This piece comes with Painted Desert G-Carta, a custom crosscut canvas Micarta, for the covers with brown crosscut Micarta bolsters separated by the same red liner material and adorned with a satin finished stainless steel shield inlay on the front and matching Micarta partial back spacer. Simple, smooth and rock solid, the liner lock delivers secure lockup for safe use.
