Enrique Pena is known for his remarkable fit, finish and function as well as the blending of the traditional and tactical in his designs. This Pena Custom Laredo Bowie Flipper leans heavily to the tactical side of his designs while still giving a nod to his traditional influences. The razor sharp, hand rubbed satin, CPM-154 blade is a more tactical version of the Lanny's Clip Point he employs in his slip joint designs. The full titanium liner lock construction is robust and flawless in execution and operation with Natural Canvas Micarta handle scales that lend a classically rugged look while offering excellent traction in the hand. Mokuti pivot collars and pocket clip enhance the already custom look and feel.

Blade: A more tactical take on the classic Lanny's clip point, the Laredo sports an aggressive bowie point with a shallow hollow ground, plain cutting edge. The Laredo delivers bold and powerful slicing and piercing performance. Riding on caged, stainless steel bearings the blade deploys fast and decisively thanks to a strong, well tuned detent. The blade is made from premium CPM154 stainless with a hand-rubbed satin finish and has a razor sharp edge.

Handle: Simple yet robust, the Laredo has contoured Micarta handle slabs supported by robust, blasted and bronze anodized titanium liners. The handle has an integral guard and gradually expands from pivot to pommel with clean lines that fit the hand well. Mokuti pivot collars provide a subtle color contrast, complementing the anodized and jimped partial back spacer. A generous hole is provided for lanyard attachment while satin Torx hardware completes the construction.

Carries via a right hand, tip-up, 3D machined Mokuti pocket clip. Includes a Peña stitched zipper pouch for transport and storage.

About CPM-154: CPM-154 is a particle metallurgy version of 154CM that benefits from the refinement in the PM process providing it with an increase in toughness and easy of finishing. CPM-154 takes a very fine edge and is highly corrosion resistant. Edge retention is going to be on-par with CPM S30V while being easier to resharpen. A great all-around blade steel.
