Enrique Pena Custom Toro Bullnose Flipper Marbled Carbon Fiber

Meet the newest flipper from custom knifemaker, Enrique Pena. Nameless as of our purchase, we're calling this tactical inspired folder the Toro as a nod to its bullnose flipper blade and beefy construction. This sleek and modern new design offers a palm filling contoured marble carbon fiber handle over thick titanium liners with the robust Pena build we've all come to know and love.

The Blade: The wide bullnose blade offers a nice deep belly and wide profile with hand rubbed satin finish and razor sharp edge. The integrated flipper tab features jimping and protrudes slightly when closed allowing for quick and easy access to the blade. Riding on caged, stainless steel bearings the blade deploys with decisive speed thanks to a strong, well tuned detent along with the convenient flipper tab.

The Handle: Ergonomic and comfortable, two large slabes of contoured marbled carbon fiber rest over thick satin finished titanium liners. These liners also form the liner locking mechanism which provides solid, secure lock up with smooth operation. Finished off with a partial blue anodized and scalloped backspacer along with satin titanium pivot screw and torx construction.

Carries via a right hand, tip-up milled titanium pocket clip. Includes Pena embroidered black nylon zipper pouch for carry and storage.

CPM-154: CPM-154 is a particle metallurgy version of 154CM that benefits from the refinement in the PM process providing it with an increase in toughness and easy of finishing. CPM-154 takes a very fine edge and is highly corrosion resistant. Edge retention is going to be on-par with CPM S30V while being easier to resharpen. A great all-around blade steel.
