Enrique Pena Custom Wharncliffe Jigged Bone

Details
This Enrique Pena single blade pattern was built with a totally traditional look and feel. It has some of the cleanest lines of any slip joint we've handled and the rich colored bone contrasts nicely with the stainless frame. Comes packaged with a nylon zipper pouch stitched with the maker's name on the front side. Brand new, direct from the maker at the 2016 USN Gathering.
The Blade: It doesn't get much more practical than the slender wharncliffe blade on this knife. A classy hand rubbed finish was carefully given to the blades surface, and everything has a nice tight feel when open. A nice half stop is present when opening the knife and there is plenty of "walk and talk" on this piece.
The Handle: Unlike most maker's slip joint knives, the bolsters and liner of this knife are milled from one solid piece of stainless steel resulting in a clean look with no visible pivot pin in the middle. Pena chose a stunning dark jigged bone for the handle scales and gave all of the stainless hardware a great looking satin finish to match the blade.
