Built to be an all-purpose, one tool option, the ESEE 6 is a large field knife that is relatively lightweight and well-balanced to perform a wide variety of cutting tasks from fine work to chopping. Upgraded for the modern user, these full size field knives retain the classic 1095 carbon steel blades with durable powder coated finish and come equipped with the new, 3D milled and contoured G10 handle scales. A multi-use tool, the ESEE 6 is a "go anywhere, do anything" cutting powerhouse. This version has an OD Green blade and Green/Black G10 Handles.

Blade: The full flat grind drop point blade delivers excellent slicing performance and features spine jimping and an index finger choil for enhanced control during heavy cutting. OD Green powder coated for a durable, corrosion resistant and non-reflective finish the 1095 carbon steel blade takes a razor sharp edge with ease and is easy to maintain in the field. A robust, 6.5 inch blade handles chopping and batoning tasks with ease while the forward finger choil offers added security for controlled work. Brand, model and steel markings are laser etched on the front of the blade.

Handle: A full tang construction supports ESEE's new 3D machined handles in OD Green/Black layered G10. Contoured to fill the hand, the 3D scales are comfortable during prolonged use while offering excellent traction in wet and dry conditions thanks to the milled texture. The larger handle offers multiple grip options for a variety of cutting tasks. An exposed portion of the tang at the pommel can be used as a striking tool and is equipped with a hole for lanyard attachment.

1095 High Carbon Steel: Highly popular, simple carbon steel. Used extensively by both production and custom knife makers. Low abrasive wear due to low carbide content but offers good toughness and is easy to sharpen. Not corrosion resistant and will rust without proper care.
