ESEE 6HM-K Black Plain Edge Rounded Handle Kydex Sheath

The ESEE 6HM-K Fixed Knife has many of the same features we've grown to love in the ESEE line with handle modifications for a friendlier grip. Designed for hard use and abuse, the ESEE 6HM would make a great hiking, hunting, camping or survival companion. By popular demand the 6HM is now available with a custom molded Kydex sheath with reversible belt clip for carry.

Blade: Full tang 1095 tool steel has been flat ground to a versatile drop point that excels at wilderness tasks from simple cutting and chopping to batoning and game cleaning. Black traction coating provides a non-reflective finish that also helps protect the high carbon steel from corrosives. Plain edge configuration with unique serial number on backside of blade.

Handle: Modified from the original 6's, the handle scales have a palm filling curvature that is more conventional among survival style blades. Very comfortable in the hand, the canvas Micarta scales are also impervious to extreme heat/cold and perform superbly when wet. Scales attached via oversize Torx screws. Exposed tang offers lanyard hole with attached green paracord.

Sheath: Includes a custom molded Kydex sheath with reversible belt clip and screw-adjustable retention.

1095 High Carbon Tool Steel: Highly popular, simple carbon steel. Used extensively by both production and custom knife makers. Low abrasive wear due to low carbide content but very tough and easy to sharpen. Not corrosion resistant and will rust without proper care.
