ESEE 6P Plain Sharpened Top Edge Black Sheath

The ESEE 6 is the pinnacle of outdoor survival cutting tools. Extremely well-balanced and lightweight for its size (11.75 inches overall), the 6 is a fine crafted USA fixed blade. This variation features a sharpened top edge giving the user nearly 3.5 more inches of cutting power on the top of the blade. Decades of survival training and experience poured into one tool is what you can expect from the ESEE 6.

The Blade: Full tang 1095 high carbon steel construction with a thick, black traction coating to help protect the steel from corrosion over time. The drop point styling is perfect for any task in the wilderness coming to a precise piercing point. This is the CP version with bonus sharpened top edge. This may come in handy when you least expect it. It has a full flat grind for no-drag cutting with about an inch and a half thumb ramp on the spine for traction. The majority of this knife has a protective coating, but the user must remember it is a strong high carbon steel that is susceptible to corrosion - Not a stainless. This is especially more likely on the cutting edge and laser engravings. It is recommended the knife be properly cleaned and lubricated after each use. 

The Handle: Removable linen micarta handle scales are an excellent outdoors option as they provide grip even when wet. The contouring of the handle fits like it was made for your grip. There is a nice guard to keep your fingers from harms' way with forward choil for choking up on the 6. The scales rest over dark red fiber liners tightened to the tang with Allen screws. The bottom forms a rounded pommel for hammering. Each is individually serialized and includes a lanyard hole for attaching cordage. 

The ESEE 6 may look a bit intimidating, but once you get it in your hand you'll wonder how you survived without it. ESEE quality you can feel and quality you can trust. The 6P-CP-B includes a black molded sheath with belt clip plate and mounting hardware. The sheath has a drainage hole system to keep liquids away from your blade and attached OD cord.
