Exotac fireROD V2 Tinder Capsule Fire Starter Orange 2005-ORG

The Exotac fireROD Version2 is a compact ferrocerium rod attached to a waterproof tinder capsule. The replaceable 3.1" x 5/16" thick ferrocerium rod burns at nearly 5550 degrees Fahrenheit and even works when wet. The tinder capsule is made from lightweight aluminum that has been hard anodized and is sealed with an O-ring offering dry storage of tinder or water purification tabs. The whole unit is compact enough to fit on fixed blade knife sheaths that support a ferro rod. Includes quickLIGHT Tinder (2) and Fire Cord Lanyard. This version is anodized Orange.
