This Helper is a little less than seven inches overall with around a three inch blade length. Perfect size for the average Joe's hand.
The Blade: This worker has no locking mechanism but what it does have is a strong backspring with firm snap opening into place. An excellent overall Pruner-styled blade with a machined satin finish and Hayn' Helper Logo. There is no nail nick opener on this blade as it sticks out of the handle enough when closed to just grasp and pull open.
The Handle: Thick, contoured OD Green linen Micarta handle scales have been pinned to stainless steel liners and secured with a brass lanyard tube, pin and steel pivot pin. The Micarta is chamferred for a comfortable feel in-hand while the classic olive drab color is handsome with any attire. . The butt end of the handle sweeps up to balance out the blade.
