Details

A design shaped by the rough seas, the Fox Sailing Knife is a purpose built folding knife for any nautical environment. A stout, liner locking 420C stainless steel Sheepsfoot blade with combo edge and robust handle are capable of handing the toughest tasks with ease with a folding marlin spike for rope related tasks and lanyard for secure carry. This version comes with blue aluminum handle scales.

Brand new, direct from Fox Knives, Italy.

Blade: The modified Sheepsfoot blade is hollow ground for excellent slicing performance while being robust at the spine for heavy use. A partially serrated cutting edge makes short work of tough, fibrous materials like rope or sail cloth. The large blade hole allows for easy one-hand operation and double as a shackle key if needed. Opposite the blade is a liner locking marlin spike for rope work.

Handle: Stainless steel liners support solid, blue anodized aluminum handle scales that provide a secure and comfortable grip while being resistant to the elements. In traditional fashion this knife has no clip but a large hole with a nylon lanyard for retrieval from the pocket and secure carry. Reliable and secure, the stainless steel liner lock is easy to operate and allows for safe use in adverse conditions.

No clip

420C: 420C or 1.4034 is a high chromium stainless steel. Used for applications requiring hardness and corrosion and wear resistance. Similar to AISI 420.
