French custom knife maker Bastien Coves (Bastinelli Knives) has paired up with Fox Knives of Italy to deliver the Shadow, a burly, tactical frame lock flipper. This is an iconic 'Bastinelli' design with highly versatile, ergonomic handle design and a powerful, modified Wharncliffe blade. This version comes with a carbon fiber front scale and stonewash finished Elmax blade.

Blade: A ball bearing pivot delivers exceptionally smooth deployment of the Elmax blade via the index flipper which provides an enhanced index guard when deployed. A nearly full flat grind on this tall blade gives a good balance of strength and cutting performance with belly nearly the full length of the blade for excellent slicing. The modified Wharncliffe profile has a powerful point with gradual taper that is durable and devastating. The blade is stonewash finished and offers excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance with enhanced toughness over M390.

Handle: Designed with tactical situations in mind the Shadow has a contoured, ergonomic handle design that facilitates security in that hand in multiple grips. A robust titanium frame lock is paired with a hardened steel lock face for smooth, solid, reliable operation. This version comes with a handsome carbon fiber front scale for the ultimate in light weight and durability.
