Fox Knives 520 Desert Fox Black G10 & Cerakote Flipper

The stealthy Desert Fox flipper from Fox Knives is a blacked out tactical operator's dream. Designed by maker Boris Manasherov to be tough and dependable when you're in the weeds.

The Blade: Over 3.5 inches of razor sharp N690Co Cobalt Vanadium high quality stainless steel to slice and pierce through whatever's in your way. It's a big-bellied drop point with slight upper swedge grind and lengthy jimped thumb ramp. The length could come in handy on finer cutting tasks such as skinning in the field. A blood groove cut into each side lightens the load and ups the cool factor. It flies smooth as silk out of the handle via an integral flipper tab. Easy, no-wrist necessary flipping here. It makes a great finger guard when open to boot. The finish is a Black Cerakote™ based on Nano-Ceramics which is super corrosion, abrasion, wear and water resistant. It's also non-reflective to keep your position concealed.

The Handle: Ergonomic as hell. You'll fall in love with how it feels in your hand. 3D machined Black G10 handle scales have grooves, divots and texture all over the place but none too aggressive. Each has it's purpose which is immediately apparent in normal or reverse grips. The edges are chamferred and smoothed out for comfort. Full length black stainless steel liners skeletonized with one forming the solid lockup. A notched G10 backspacer with glassbreaker extension and single barrel spacer bring the Desert Fox together. 

Fox Knives hit a home run with this flipper. It's about as tough as they come as far as reliable backups and tactical folders go. It comes with a reversible 420J2B deep carry pocket clip for tip up left or right hand carry and zipper pouch.
