The family-owned and operated, California-based Olamic Cutlery has teamed up with Fox Knives of Italy to produce an affordable production model with a custom design. The Bravado is a stylish tactical frame lock folder with Anso-style 'Scalloped' titanium handles and a stonewash finished Bohler N690 blade.
Brand New From Fox Knives.
Blade: Dual thumb studs allow for ambidextrous deployment of the stonewash finished N690 blade. The blade is a mid-height saber grind clip point profile with a subtle recurve edge and top swedge. This blade design offers a platform that slices and pierces well without sacrificing durability. Jimping on the subtle thumb ramp adds enhanced security and control. The stonewash finish is rugged and hides wear from use over time.
Handle: The titanium frame lock construction is built with standoffs for a light weight, open back design. The scales are done up in an Anso-style milled scallop for both comfort and traction. The titanium frame lock construction is robust and simple offering secure operation. The knife construction is completed with polished standoffs, Hinderer-style over travel stop and pocket clip. Pommel hole provided for lanyard attachment.
Carries via a reversible, tip-up stainless steel pocket clip. "Fox" Nylon Zipper Pouch included for carry and storage.
N690: Bohler N690 is a conventionally produced stainless steel with Cobalt and Vanadium added giving it performance at or above VG-10. This steel is very stainless, has good edge retention, is relatively easy to sharpen and takes a fine, razor edge. For every day carry and use N690 delivers excellent performance.
