Fox Knives Vox Suru Orange Aluminum Frame Lock Flipper 526ALO

Fox Knives of Italy have teamed up yet again with prolific custom Danish knife maker and designer Jesper Voxnaes to bring us the Suru flipper with frame lock. This compact blade is small enough for every day carry but stout enough for some serious use. This version comes with a black stonewash finished Bohler N690 blade, Orange Aluminum handles and deep carry wire clip.

Blade: A ball bearing pivot delivers exceptionally smooth deployment of the N690 blade via the index flipper or blade hole. A high saber grind gives a good balance of strength and cutting performance with a forward choil for optimal control for detail work. The N690 blade is black stonewash finished and offers a good balance of edge retention, corrosion resistance and ease of sharpening.

Handle: The handles are constructed from aluminum with milled holes for weight reduction as well as enhanced traction in the hand. The classic frame lock is outfitted with a steel lock face insert delivering solid, reliable lock up with enhanced weight savings putting the whole package under 3 ounces. Construction is completed with black hardware and backspacer.

Carries via a right hand, tip-up stainless steel deep carry wire clip.

N690: Bohler N690 is a high quality stainless steel with performance similar to Japanese VG-10 with high level corrosion resistance, good edge retention and easy of sharpening.
