Blade: The large 420HC stainless clip point blade and degorger tool open with a snappy half stop. The blade has a classic nail nick,  a high performance full flat grind, and "fish keeper" etch. Teeth on the degorger are used for descaling and the tang has a bottle opener cutout.

Handle: Fit perfectly to polished nickel silver bolsters are eye-catching tortoise shell acrylic covers, delivering a generous handle with a gentle taper toward the blade and subtle index guard. Construction is classic brass liner and pin with strong stainless steel back springs for secure slip joint operation. A steel split ring with signal whistle comes attached. Each GEC knife ships in a sturdy tube with company information on the front.

420HC Stainless Steel: AISI 420HC is a "high carbon" 420 modification developed for higher hardness with improved edge retention and stability. High corrosion resistance and toughness, easy to sharpen to a fine edge. Moderate edge retention.
