The Northfield UN-X-LD #88 Bayou Trapper is something of a hybrid with a Stockman style handle, two-blade Trapper blade setup and Muskrat clip point and Lambsfoot blades. A Pattern Production Premiere, the Bayou Trapper will be great for users and collectors alike with a unique style and timeless GEC build quality. This version comes with Swamp Green Jigged Bone covers and Alligator shield.

Blade: Polished carbon steel blades open from the same end in standard Trapper fashion with strong spring tension and a snappy half stop. Both blades, a Muskrat clip with Gator "Bayou Trapper" etch and tapered Lambsfoot, open via classic nail nicks.

Handle: Built on a traditional brass liner and pin construction, the stout handle sports pinched and grooved nickel silver bolsters framing rugged "Swamp Green" jigged bone covers for a solid grip and tactile feel. The full length back springs protect the blades when closed and deliver solid slip joint operation with good walk and talk.

1095 Carbon Steel: A simple, extensively used carbon steel with low edge retention and corrosion resistance. Easy to sharpen to a fine edge, 1095 can be differentially heat treated (hard edge/soft spine) for optimized performance.
