Blade: The plain edge, clip point blade is saber ground giving delivering enhanced durability while the top swedge clip point provides a fine tip for detail work and piercing. A Polished Stonewashed finish on the S30V blade gives the knife a high-class look that still hides ware from use. The blade opens one-handed via a generous blade hole riding smoothly on the inset steel liners.

Handle: The upgraded Gator Skin over mold delivers optimal comfort and traction in the hand while the inset steel liners and Glass-filled nylon core deliver lightweight durability and strength to this compact folder. The stainless steel bolster/index guard gives the Gator Premium perfect balance for long use as well as some added style. The knife operates on a simple back lock mechanism with tried and true reliability. Gerber adds a 'half-stop' detent that enhances safety while still delivering smooth operation.

CPM-S30V: A martensitic, powdered stainless steel with high levels of wear and corrosion resistance. Its chemistry promotes the formation and even distribution of vanadium carbides, which are harder and more effective at cutting than chromium carbides. This gives it a very refined grain, further improving the sharpness and toughness. S30V is a great, all around steel with high levels of performance.
