Details

First introduced in 1966, the Gerber Mark II is a combat knife has stood the test of time. Specifically designed for combat applications, the black oxide coated 420HC blade is double serrated for versatility while the die-cast aluminum handle and dual guard deliver a secure grip in the most adverse conditions. Paired with a high quality, MOLLE compatible, double snap secured nylon sheath the Mark II is an invaluable combat tool you can count on.

Brand new, direct from Gerber Knives, USA.

Blade: Made from nearly quarter inch thick 420HC stainless steel, the blade of the Mark II will hold up to some serious use and requires only the minimum amount of maintenance. The symmetrically ground, double edge blade does what a dagger does best: pierce. Dual serrated sections make quick work of tough, fibrous materials for added utility.

Handle: Black hard anodized for discreet use, the die-cast aluminum handle is simple, durable and light weight, just what you need in your combat fixed blade. A generous swell makes for a secure and comfortable grip while the double guard keeps your hands safe from the blade during serious use. A generous hole is provided in the pommel for lanyard attachment.

Sheath: Carries via a MOLLE compatible ballistic nylon belt sheath with polymer insert and dual snap closure.

420HC Stainless Steel: 420HC is a stainless steel that provides excellent rust resistance, ease of re-sharpening and moderate edge retention while being exceptionally tough for a stainless steel. With proper heat treat it is said to preform similarly to VG-10 in wear resistance.
