This Gerber Paul Knife Series II Model 2 First Production from the year 1996. This discontinued piece features a stainless steel frame with full stainless backspacer and carbon fiber/nylon resin alloy handle slabs. Designed by aero space engineer Paul Poehlmann, the Paul button lock mechanism is the main attraction on this folder providing for effortless manual opening and closing of the blade. The button lock is marked "Paul" on the front and "First Production Run 1996" on the back.
