The Gerber Sharkbelly is a modern take on the classic pocket knife design with a slim, lightweight, lock back construction that is easy to carry. The stainless steel wire pocket clip offers discreet and secure carry and helps reduce scratching of other objects when in the pocket. The thin, modified Sheepsfoot blade slices fantastically while the GFN handles are tough, lightweight and comfortable in the hand.

The Blade: Made from tough, corrosion resistant 420HC stainless steel the modified Sheepsfoot blade is hollow ground from thin stock for excellent slicing performance. The blade still has plenty of point for piercing tasks and fine work. Opening via the large blade hole the blade has a subtle half-stop that is biased against closing for added security while still providing smooth operation.

The Handle: Two pieces of durable and lightweight Glass Filled Nylon make up the structure of the knife housing both the blade and back lock mechanism. The back lock is a timeless mechanism that offers strength and simplicity. The Handles are equipped with 'Sharkskin Grip' texture adding to the secure, ergonomic design. A generous hole is provided for lanyard attachment and the knife carries via a right hand, tip-down, stainless steel wire clip.
