Blade: Riding on a bronze washer pivot, the classic drop point blade deploys with snappy action via the dual stepped thumb studs. Stonewashed for a rugged, wear hiding look, the M390 blade has a high flat saber grind for a balance of strength and slicing performance. The blade has minimal taper toward the tip giving added strength for piercing and heavy use.
Handle: Hardened, inset stainless steel liners support green anodized aluminum handle scales Lightweight, durable and weather resistant the handle requires minimal maintenance and is contoured for a comfortable grip. Clean, sweeping lines are aesthetically appealing and offers security in the hand without additional texturing. One liner forms the locking mechanism providing smooth operation and solid, reliable lock up for safe use with jimping for positive disengagement. Barrel spacers create an open back construction completed with stainless Torx hardware.
Carries via a reversible, tip-up, stainless steel wire clip.
Bohler M390: Bohler M390 has become an extremely popular choice for high-end, user grade knives thanks to its high level edge retention and exceptional corrosion resistance making it very low maintenance. It also resists burr formation for greater ease of sharpening. Comparable steels are CTS-204P and CPM-20CV.
