Details

The #44 Buffalo Jack, or Gunstock, from Great Eastern Cutlery is an exercise in class, precision and compact utility. Its style says true gentleman with its clean lines and smooth edges while the perfectly placed blades are looking for work. It is a great all around size for every day. This one is outfitted in unique all-brass construction as the Buffalo Jack is introduced to the world.

The #44 in Autumn Gold Jigged Bone by Northfield USA is brand new directly from GEC.

The Blades: Up front sits a handy pen blade excelling in small chores such as opening envelopes and small packages. Its big brother in the back is a Northfield logo engraved Clip blade ready for more demanding tasks. Both feature GEC's pristine polished finish and wonderful half stop openings. Both are quite easy to operate with about a medium pull and function from the same bolster end. Crafted from USA 1095 high carbon steel that'll hold a good edge and re-sharpen in a jiffy.

The Handle: Also known as a traditional Gunstock pattern as its handle in whole resembles that of a rifle stock. Visually appealing and comfortable in hand on this timeless design. Shaped and textured cattle bone has a gold-ish yellow to dark earth brown look to it with accented brass bolsters (one striped, one stamped UN-X-LD), pins and liners. Making its debut is the brass .44-77 Cartridge Shield putting a stamp on this Gunstock.

Each ships wrapped up in wax paper inside its shipping tube with company info on the front.
