The #44 Buffalo Jack, or Gunstock, from Great Eastern Cutlery is an exercise in class, precision and compact utility. Blades: Up front sits a handy pen blade excelling in small chores such as opening envelopes and small packages. Its big brother in the back is a Northfield logo engraved Clip blade ready for more demanding tasks. Both feature GEC's pristine polished finish and wonderful half stop openings. Both are quite easy to operate with about a medium pull and function from the same bolster end. Crafted from USA 1095 high carbon steel that'll hold a good edge and re-sharpen in a jiffy.

Handle: The #44 pattern is also known as a traditional Gunstock pattern as its handle resembles that of a rifle stock. Visually appealing this timeless handle pattern is comfortable in hand. Rugged Sambar stag handle scales have great character and are fit with precision. Construction consists of brass pins and liners with polished, flush nickel silver bolsters. This timeless piece has a natural element that is a necessity in any collection.
