Details
Northfield UN-X-LD #78 Single-blade American Jack is built to perfection the way they used to be by Great Eastern Cutlery in the USA. It's a well-rounded medium-sized pocket knife featuring a single, hard-working blade and some worked bone handle scales.
The #78 American Jack with Golden Brown Jig Bone is brand new direct from the manufacturer.
The Blades: For heavy duty, this traditional widely shaped spear point comes to rest just between the liners where ya like it. It is secured and opened from the larger bolster closest to the shield with a welcomed half-stop during the opening process. A classic polished finish with Logo and nail groove puller accent this high carbon American steel. It'll be easy to sharpen and patina.
The Handle: The pins and liners, or backbone, of the operation are built from brass while the bolsters and shield are made with traditional nickel silver. This genuine look and feel is all tied together with handsome, jigged for texture bone which comes through as a medium brown to dark yellow on most. Its cross-x'd jig pattern adds grip and provides character to the bone.
Each #78 American Jack comes rolled up in protective wax paper with cardboard shipping tube, labeled cap and company information on the front.
