Blade: This new style from GEC blends the classic lines of the Sheepsfoot and Wharncliffe for powerful cutting potential. It is equipped with a polished finish etched with "The Original Ram Foot" and long groove pull with a subtle upper swedge with that just-right half stop action. The high carbon 1095 blade steel is tough and easy to sharpen to a razor like edge but requires care to prevent corrosion and will naturally patina over time.

Handle: Swayed back with clean curves and solid lines for days the handles are made from Antique Autumn Jigged Bone scales attached with brass pins to brass liners in the traditional style. The scales sit flush to the polished, grooved bolsters that match the inlaid Ram's Head shield finishing out the piece.

Each #93 comes rolled up in wax paper inside the Northfield-labeled travel tube.

1095 High Carbon Tool Steel: Highly popular, simple carbon steel. Used extensively by both production and custom knife makers. Low abrasive wear due to low carbide content but very tough and easy to sharpen. Not corrosion resistant and will rust without proper care.
